I enjoyed the video — simple and yet to the point. Your “camera man” was also very good. He has an easy way about him. I am sure he is not affected too much by the hustle and bustle of the commercial world. I guess it’s a dog’s life
By the way, you are one of my FaceBook friends.
Michael - I’ve given so much stuff away without any sales, I’m doing something wrong obviously - it sounds so easy and it is in theory, but sheesh, I can’t get anyone to buy a thing! aaagghhh —
I can make MP3s and videos.
I’ve got a presence, but no sales. geez. not the right stuff.
I wanna see this kid.
Well my friend that was quite a performance! I love your artwork, it’s really cool! The carrot had me salivating for a real one. No, I’m not going to rake you over the coals, you gave great content as far as producing a product, fantastic, but what turns me off from doing it is this; I’ve been selling stuff online for 3 years now but no-one and I mean NO-ONE has been able to explain how to get that stuff from your website to downoad automatically to the customer. I do not know how to do that! Have you covered that topic in a previous video or if not could you cover that in one upcoming video. Thanks mate!
Steve
I would like to set up some type of an Internet Marketing
Website Business. Have been looking at your videos, can you recommend some type of a product that can be sold on the net. I am doing Accounting right now and would like to stop doing it and find something else to do that I can do at home. I am a “babyboomer” and while I am not ready for retirement; I would like to have steady income….Need lots of help.
how did you ever get to be so smart?
will be following many more of these videos!
i agree with affiliate marketing!
i should have been listening to you alot sooner!!!
I have been following right along on all of your videos Michael, and I’ve noticed
that you recently feel more comfortable and secure with the sharing some of your ideas with us for free,I know that you realize only 1 or 2 percent
of the people watching will actually put any of the great ideas into action.
I sent a couple of your episodes
to my daughter and the feedback was positive for a change.I certainly agree with John W,who needs tv this is far more entertaining.
The intro with your adorable springer spaniel is hilarious and got my attention right away. I’m encouraged by what you shared in the video and now know how to create my own product thanks to your helpful advice.
Good overall..
BUT, You lost valuable time the start!….
this time would have been better and more effectively used at

Now let’s see here, Max was what? Oh yes, the CEO, doing what CEO’s do best, right.
Then you were saying, what? Oh yes, HOW TO BUILD A FIRE IN 10 MINUTES.
Is that a “keyword rich” healine? Let’s google it, yes, I think it is. Great, great idea, Michael,
I’m going over right now and create my Lead Capture, “HOW MAX THE CEO STARTS A FIRE IN 10 MINUTES”.
Thanks, (lol)
Bravo to you Mike.
Hey Michael,
After a bit of research, I have found compelling evidence that you just might be the reincarnation of Stanley Laurel!

I agree totally with Dave… “WHY DOES IT TAKE YOU AN HOUR TO CREATE A PRODUCT IN 5-10 MINS? ” I have watched 4 of these videos hoping to learn something and am sick of watching the dog, the fire, your lights or whatever. There is nothing that I have learned, ONLY that you are wasting my time. There are truly great FREE info videos that stick to the subject and teach… not waffle on and on and on and on… !!!
This is the first of your videos that I have seen and I must say that it was very useful and informative.

Your awesome Michael! Can’t wait to see more from Child X…maybe he can inspire some of my kids!! LOL
Michael,
You take as long as you want mate wafflin, doodlin, lightin a fire, whatever, you’ve earned the right.
What’s clearly different about you is that you havn’t forgot where you started from and are only too willing to help those of us that are there now.
So, cheers for the resources in this video and I don’t know about John Motson, I thought you looked like a young Martin Tyler.
Love your videos and your products. You have really given some great advice that has helped me a lot. I feel that you appreciate your affiliates and audience very much to be giving away all this info. Thanks so much.

Can’t wait for your review,

How’s about you put all the bad reviews and comments out as well? Inject some reality into the proceedings. All the hand-picked “We love you, Cheney” posts are rather empty, not to say seemingly contrived. Or are you not gusty enough to allow people to see a fair representation of your correspondence?
Just wanted to say that I love your stuff, both free and paid works as well. Especially love your videos - you have a habit of making what could be a dry topic hilarious! Keep up the good work!
I am now just starting my own real estate empire, so hopefully one day I will be as successful as you are!

Chris Carlin
P.S. Regarding those who bag you out (like you mentioned in video two “how can you talk for so long about nothing” people) mate just unsubscribe them yourself. I know you can do it in Aweber, not sure about GetResponse! It makes you feel so much better when you don’t have to put up with unappreciative idiots like that (tried to sound as negative as possible without swearing LOL)! Keep up the good work!
P.P.S. If you are short of ideas, I think an interesting video would be on the topic of ‘testing’. How to set it up, how to track it etc.
P.P.P.S. (Last one honest!) Update on Operation TW? How is that going along?
Product review sites are a great way to promote and sell products. When most people visit an e-commerce site it can have an adverse effect. They know the site is trying to sell them something and their resistance can be elevated because of this. If on the other hand you one of your friends was to tell you about a great product, you would be more inclined to purchase this product yourself. http://www.net-marketing-guide.com/articles/show/15-how-to-create-a-product-review-site
And I dont make much att adsens or my affiliate stuff Micheal..And i dont know much abut e,mail list never been useing it before.. Could you give an demo on how you sett it up? step by step..anyways thanks…
Would be nice to learn from you.Can you add me to your skype micheal? my skype is youngguns28 or msn? global12@hotmail.com greetings from Norway by the way..
Great video as always. Hey, that dog can’t be the cameraman, he’s likely to fall asleep on the job!!
Audacity is definitely a cool piece of free software to create mp3 audio files, especially for those working on a budget.
Keep ‘em coming
P.S. Don’t listen to the naysayers. There’ll ALWAYS be people who have negative things to say. Just let your own personality come out in the videos. I mean, they’re getting this for free for heavens sakes.
Hi Michael,
I really enjoyed this video. I have been struggling with coming up with products to give to my list signups. Seeing how easy it was for you gives me a lot of confidence. Thanks,
Hi Michael
Great video. Thanks.
Just a quick comment for those of us who are a little less internet savvy. I went looking for the audacity website and kept getting told that it was not available….until I figured out that you don’t type in the www , and for some of us thats just a habit.
I got there in the end though so thanks again.
Terry
If you are a depressed net marketer, help is at hand……..
Get Michael Chaney’s
videos.
You get great advice, you will have a laugh and you will put away the nylon rope!
I am still catching up, and I am amazed at the comments some people had the “AUDACITY” (yes, a pun IS intended!) to write here.
I won’t give THEM a moment of MY time!
Michael, you have given me some serious new tools AND this is even after I have been “taught” these lessons, before (years ago).
For example, I was never shown the “other” parts of Audacity that I needed to download before I could actually get a product.
And, the other valuable thing I learned in this video was about DesignOutpost.com to get web designers to bid on your logo or website or CD cover etc. project.
I appreciated learning about CastingWords.com as your transcription service, too, as my former input may or may not be relevant anymore. Websites come and go.
You asked about what else we could learn. Well, I understand that you are trying to provide new information for marketers at all levels, but as an educator, I would highly recommend that you make sure the “Basics” ARE covered first.
Many of us do NOT have a website or know how to make one; many of us do not know how to make a landing page as a start to build a list (and the alternatives to this option by using certain Web 2.0 sites).
You have to deal with these topics soon (maybe you already have, as you are up to Video 8 as I write this), but otherwise, too many Newbies will say “I don’t have a way to apply this”, and stop watching.
Additionally, many people may think they know these BASICS, but they may not have learned the best way or the newest way etc. etc. It never hurts to review. We can always learn something different, especially if we have been in a rut and not kept “current”.
So, I have to try to catch-up on more videos, along with taking an intense class. (I’ll write again after I see the next one (hopefully, at least one more this week-end).
Thanks, Michael, for your help and interest. I really appreciate it, and I am willing to have you lighten and brighten my day, with your sunny, quirky personality.
Don’t let the curmudgeons get to you.
Do come spend some time in Oregon — it does not just look like Scotland, as I wrote before — but we also have many Native American tribes and their museums, cultural events etc, cowboys, ranches, volcanoes, great salmon fishing, alpine meadows and lakes, world-class rock climbing and mountain climbing, amazing fossil beds, great seashores, world-class wind-surfing, great camping, natural hot-springs and retreats and the only temperate rain forest left on the planet!
My aunt, who had travelled the world, said Oregon was the microcosm of it, and all within 2 - 6 hours of driving. It’s really amazing. She said the only thing we didn’t have were the deep fiords of Norway (well, Alaska and British Columbia have those, and they are nearby, and obviously tropical jungle — although prehistoric Oregon was tropical, at one time!).
So, as my gift back to you, I share my hidden-in-plain site jewel among America’s 50.
This confessions series has been really great. Forget the people who are tired of watching you light fires and play with your dog. They are just jealous that they do not have time to work from home and sit around lighting fires.
You are just plain having to much fun doing these videos. You could set up a video studio like Joshua Safran’s, but I suspect you would then feel obligated to get serious. Don’t change! You are always fun to listen to and provide great information.

So, as my gift back to you, I share my hidden-in-plain site jewel among America’s 50.
With kindest Regards,
Meg

This confessions series has been really great. Forget the people who are tired of watching you light fires and play with your dog. They are just jealous that they do not have time to work from home and sit around lighting fires.
Great stuff.

Michael:
You are just plain having to much fun doing these videos. You could set up a video studio like Joshua Safran’s, but I suspect you would then feel obligated to get serious. Don’t change! You are always fun to listen to and provide great information.
